LISA BOUCHELLE & THE BLEU RELEASE INFECTIOUS NEW ALBUM "JUMP IN!" TODAY

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 27th, 2021) – After teasing eager fans with two energetic and highly infectious single releases, New Jersey based singer and songwriter Lisa Bouchelle’s complete project, Jump In!, finally arrives today. Under the moniker Lisa Bouchelle & The Bleu, the project is the first demonstration of the group’s new label deal with BFD/The Orchard, a division of the Sony Music Group.

Jump In! contains 13 new tracks and features an array of impressive musical collaborators, including recent 2020 Grammy nominee G. Love, Mike Schmid, keyboardist with The Chainsmokers and Miley Cyrus, Tommy Kessler of Blondie, Joel Hoekstra of Whitesnake and TSO, Hal B. Selzer of Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Rob Hyman of The Hooters, American Idol and Broadway star Constantine Maroulis, and many others. These collaborations “further legitimize [Bouchelle’s] versatility and range,” says Music Connection.

To celebrate the release, Bouchelle and her band, The Bleu, will be performing a free, intimate livestream mini-concert presented by American Songwriter Magazine on Friday, September 3rd at 8 PM EST. The livestream will take place from the Lakehouse Recording Studio in Asbury Park, NJ, and feature a number of the songs from the album, as well as an inside look at the stories behind some of the songs.

Bouchelle’s musical repertoire is impressive in its own regard, and her many, diverse musical inspirations shine through on each track, creating a sparkling, sonic display of her talent, individuality, and true vocal range. Especially evident throughout the body of work is Bouchelle’s continued stream of positivity and inspiration, and her unique ability to tell stories of triumph and tribulations, falling down and standing back up twice as tall.

This latest release from Bouchelle follows her 2016 critically acclaimed EP, Lipstick Tomboy, which achieved over 2 million streams as well as several hundred thousand YouTube views. In addition, Lisa has sung backup for Bruce Springsteen, dueted in concert with Jon Bon Jovi, and she has also maintained a heavy touring schedule over the last few years, having played with some of music’s biggest names including Blues Traveler, Train, Bryan Adams, Shooter Jennings, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Meat Loaf, Ingrid Michaelson, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Don Felder of The Eagles, and The Wailers, among others.

Bouchelle is currently in discussions to nationally syndicate her hit TV series “Rock Star Kitchen,” an idea she formed while touring and recording with Blues Traveler front man John Popper. The show centers around Bouchelle, who gathers with rock stars in the kitchen to talk about music and touring, all while cooking their favorite dishes and jamming on acoustic guitars. Currently distributed via The Comcast Network, where it has become a top rated original content series, the show can be seen twice weekly throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Bouchelle is also in talks for a cookbook based on the show.
