NEW Pass the Pick Productions Song & Video OF LUKAS NELSON & PROMISE OF THE REAL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Pass the Pick Productions is releasing a new multi-cam HD video of Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real performing the classic song “My One and Only Love” via BFD/The Orchard. After recently touring the globe playing behind the legendary Neil Young, Lukas Nelson & POTR have become one of America’s most dynamic and entertaining touring bands. Fresh off the incredibly successful collaboration with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper on the hit movie “A Star is Born”,  the band is bringing their unique Americana/Rock sound to new heights. Nelson was a 2019 BAFTA winner with Gaga and Cooper Best Film Music.

The new video of “My One and Only Love” was recorded live on location at The Greenbrier Whiskey Distillery, in Nashville, TN. Pass the Pick Productions asked the artists to each pick a song from Sir Paul McCartney’s MPL publishing company, and the Guy Wood and Robert Mellin penned classic from 1952  “My One and Only Love” was the tune that Nelson and his band chose to play in front of a live audience. The video was produced by Paula Kennedy, Bo Harrigan and Johnny Reid. Reid also directed the shoot. The track features the band's four-piece line-up: Lukas Nelson (guitar, vocals), Tato Melgar (percussion), Anthony LoGerfo (drums), Corey McCormick (bass). The video was edited by Anthony Gargano and Reid in New York, and the audio was mixed and mastered by Frank Harris at his Third Wave Productions studio in Oakland, CA.

In this new clip, the band channels sounds of Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and of course Lukas' dad, the iconic Willie Nelson.

Recently, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real have performed on major festivals such as AmericanaFest, Outlaw Music Festival (with Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, Farm Aid, and the Austin City Limits Festival. The band has some high profile shows on the books for 2019 that include dates in Australia, The Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, TN and an evening at the legendary Ryman Theater in Nashville, TN.
